My sister is hoping to go to America and needs travel insurance however she doesn’t know how old you have to be to get travel insurance under her own name as she is travelling alone, does anybody know how old you have to be? Thanks.

So just the pertinent details in this saga, basically, co-worker wrecked motorcycle that was not insured resulting in 4 grand damages. Now wants to sue me for it not having insurance that results in him having license suspended, his insurance being high risk for 5 years, and his wife wanting a divorce over this. For all purposes of what I knew, when I learned the bike didnt have insurance, I was going to be stuck choking on the 4 grand loss, that was my lesson learned (didnt ask him for a dime and he never offered either). Now with all this turning up at the BMV, he wants to sue me???

I have read that primary insurance that (would) have been mine would pay for most on damages, and his secondary to cover the gap. Will his insurance pay for the entire cost if the vehicle didnt have a primary insurance?

What legal issues could I be looking at as a result of this and what should I do to protect myself?

We’re planning a trip to Italy in one month and expedited services says they will complete the passport in two weeks. I’ve heard many stories that it takes much longer than that.

I almost clicked/opted-in for Travel Insurance on Travelocity when booking the tickets but it’s funny that passport problems was NOT listed as a valid reason for insurance payment.

Does anyone else offer insurance for a trip if there are passport problems?
